Vietnam Memorials

The Memorials are in honor of the courage, sacrifice and devotion to duty and country of all who answered the call to serve during one of the most divisive wars in U.S. history. They honor service members of the armed forces who fought, died and who are still missing in action. Currently there are five memorials that honor these brave service members: The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, The Three Service Men & Flag Pole, The Vietnam Women’s Memorial and the In-Memory Memorial Plaque. Inscribed on the black granite walls of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall are the names of more than 58,000 men and women who gave their lives or remain missing. The memorials are located in Washington, DC. Scrolled down and click the history button to read about the memorial pieces.
